Benevolence Ministry

SoupKitchen Purpose:  Exercising genuine  compassion and  affection toward those who are suffering hardship, grieving loss, widowed, sick, and without, by relieving their burden and aiding those who require assistance (e.g. 2 Cor. 1:3-7/Gal. 6:2/Jms. 2:13-16/Matt. 25:34-40/Acts 6:1-4/1 Tim. 5:2-16.)

Our mission:  To compassionately render aid and relief to the widowed, the sick, the suffering, those grieving loss and who are without and those who require assistance with their daily necessities such as: food clothing, medicine, transportation, etc.  It is our intention to visit regularly those of us who have been hospitalized, incarcerated, home-bound, and institutionalized.  We will see to it that our widowed saints are aided and tended to, the bereaved are comforted and that the burdens of all those among us are shared and lightened through the efforts of this ministry as well as the entire congregation.

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.” — 2 Cor. 1:3-5

Evangelism Ministry

Purpose:  To urgently present the pure and unadulterated gospel of Christ to all (e.g. family & friends, community, region and to all the world and every creature) – Matt. 28:18-20/Mk. 16:15-16/Lk. 24:46-47.

Our mission:  To promote the message of Christ to all men through every available means; distribution of gospel literature (e.g. brochures, newsletters, tracts, etc.), providing lessons and sermons (both written and audio) on our church website, hosting annual gospel meetings and other publicized evangelistic efforts.  We will offer one-on-one as well as group Bible study lessons conducted by men and women who are skilled and trained to fluently present the truth both firmly and succinctly.

“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”—1Tim 2:3-4

Ivory Coast Mission - Despite great struggle and national political turmoil Issac Gnohou labors for the Lord in Ivory Coast. A well trained teacher and preacher Issac travels Ivory Coast spreading the Good News and baptizing many souls.
